AIRCRAFT INSTRUMENT AND RADIO BECOMES AIRCO GROUP

WITH NEW NAME AND IMAGE, AIRCO GROUP MAINTAINS TRADITION OF TRUSTED SERVICE.

Wichita, Kansas. -- Since their founding in 1968, Aircraft Instrument & Radio Co., Inc. and Aircraft Instrument & Radio Services, Inc. have operated on a simple principle: to provide the aircraft industry with the highest level of customer service. That remains unchanged. With a new logo, name and the same commitment to stellar customer service, the two divisions now emerge as AIRCO Group.

"The name change was a needed element in our growth process," said Melanie Combs, Vice President / Operations. "We are currently gaining international reach and for the sake of ease for our customers, we felt a name that blankets all of the services we offer would eliminate any unnecessary confusion. And it's a more memorable name, too."

Also contributing to the company's new image are a refined company logo and marketing materials. An interactive CD and a redesigned user-friendly website with new purchasing capabilities are in the works.

"While our company will evolve with changes like these as we prepare to move into the future, we are still a family-owned business with traditional values in place," said Combs. "We believe in giving our customers incomparable service with quality, fast turnaround and on-budget performance. This has been our mission since 1968 and it will be tomorrow as well."

The new name unifies the two divisions by title but still allows each division to maintain its individual purpose. Aircraft Instrument & Radio Co., Inc. maintains an extensive in-house inventory of latest-generation avionics, instruments, aircraft rotables and accessories. Aircraft Instrument & Radio Services, Inc. provides complete avionics and instrument service and repair. Its services include inspecting, testing and servicing each part to prepare it for immediate shipment and installation. Both companies offer services that support civilian and military transport aircraft, regional and business jets and turboprop aircraft.
